Letter foretold Japan rampage that killed 19 disabled people

  • 19 were killed and around 25 were injured, 20 of them seriously
  • Uematsu was fired from working at the facility and broke in by shattering a window

  • Uematsu calmly turned himself in about two hours after the attack
  • Those killed range in ages from 19 to 70
  • In February, Uematsu tried to hand deliver a letter to parliament’s lower house speaker that demanded all disabled people be put to death
