A single mother is speaking out about how her son with autism has been treated by the health care system.He was rushed to Kelowna General Hospital. Schan says because staff didn’t know how to deal with Coltin, he spent much of his time sedated. Only a week into his stay, the hospital wanted to discharge him and a ministry official gave Schan an impossible decision to make.
