An independent review team will submit a report and recommendations by the end of the week on remedies for Nova Scotia’s long-standing practice of systemic discrimination against the disabled.
A long and troubling path led to the selection last year of external and independent experts Eddie Bartnik of Australia and Tim Stainton of British Columbia to lead an intensive review of the province’s past history with the disabled community and the DRC’s push for more meaningful social assistance.
